Current 黑料科 OTD candidates can apply for admission to the OTD/MBA Dual Degree Program upon completing at least one semester in the OTD program. Applicants will be evaluated based on their performance to date in the OTD program, including their undergraduate academic record. The MBA has three prerequisites that are required for admission: accounting, finance, and statistics.
Master's Application Requirements
Dual degree candidates will be billed in four installments once they register for their first graduate business course. A charge will be posted for a total of four semesters. The installments will be based on current graduate tuition rates and will be adjusted annually. Dual degree candidates will save 50% on tuition. Why should I get both degrees?
The OTD prepares you with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies needed for occupational therapy practice. By adding an MBA, you develop the ability to manage personnel, financial resources, and organizational systems effectively. In today’s occupational therapy landscape, your professional advancement often depends not only on clinical competence, but also on your capacity for leadership, operational oversight, and informed business decision-making.
Why don’t I just wait and get my MBA later?
Completing the OTD/MBA Dual Degree Program at Western New England saves you time and money. OTD/MBA candidates receive the MBA at half the cost. By following the structured plan of study, you will earn both of your degrees at the same time. The program design allows for 12 credits of your OTD coursework to count towards requirements in both programs.
Are the MBA courses and OTD courses on the same schedule?
Yes, both the OTD courses and MBA courses are offered during the same academic calendar - traditional, 15-week Fall and Spring Semesters, and an 8-week Summer Semester for OTD and a 12-week Summer Semester for the MBA that coincides.
Great! When can I start taking courses?
Toward the end of your first year, you may begin completing the pre-requisite requirements for the MBA program. The prerequisites include accounting and finance. If you have not satisfied either of these requirements, you have the option to complete the RLT Online Financial Analysis Suite. You can start your first MBA courses in the summer semester of your first year of the OTD.
What if I have additional questions?
